F.E.A.R. is one of those titles that surprised just about everyone who played it, not only did it have fantastic and really exciting gameplay, it actually had some good AI and some great graphics to show off those fancy graphics cards and top end pc's. This benchmark is one of our own once again and we've run it against the FX-62, 5000+ X2 and the plain 4000+ AMD processors and the single Intel 955 processor. As you can see from the results, as expected the FX-62 flies into the lead followed closely by the new 5000+ processor with both the Intel and lower end 4000+ AMD processor down at the bottom of the pile. In a later review of just the motherboard, we'll be putting the processors through even more tests as the motherboard is supposed to push NVidia cards even faster than it does the ATI ones.
