While not the best program to tell you how well your machine performance is in real world gaming terms, the benchmark is well used across all the internet and in magazines nowadays. As you can see, as expected the overall 3D Mark score is not much higher on the 4000 than the 38000processor, this is simply due to them both using an identical graphics card, the strange part of this test is that the CPU test showed a drop when using the 4000+ processor against the 3800+, I can't explain this one as I ran the test multiple times and couldn't get much better marks, but in saying that, as usual 3D Mark 2005 is best left for 3D benchmarking, not CPU testing.
