Trimming The Run Menu & URL List

As the list of the run menu remembers what you programs has been launched, it is dangerous to have applications like regedit and sysedit lingering around the list. If you want to clear the list, go to crank up the registry editor and go to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU. Choose the offending application and clear its value. The URL list might also be available. You can use delete but make sure you don't delete the first and last string entries.
