Trimming The Add/Remove Program List

We see this often, you removed a program and the item is still hanging around at the Add/Remove Program List. This will clutter up the list and making it hard to find the real program you want to remove. To trim this list, fire up the registry editor and HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Uninstall. From the drop-down list, select the unwanted item and delete it for good.
