Norton Internet Security 2002 Family Edition comes with the recently released Norton AntiVirus 2002 and is aimed to protect your Internet connection against every kind of threat: hackers, cyber thieves, malicious ActiveX or Java code, hoax emails, instant messaging issues and cookies. There are two different editions of Norton Internet Security 2002: Norton Personal FireWall 2002 (the most basic version) and Norton Internet Security 2002. Norton Internet Security 2002 four different modules which accomplish different tasks: Norton Antivirus 2002, Norton Personal FireWall, Norton Privacy Control, and Norton Parental Control. The plus feature of this edition is its ability to protect users’ children by blocking inappropriate websites. So here is my complete review of this great product.

Setup

   After inserting the Norton Internet Security 2002 v4.0 CD an auto play box appears and a click on the install button launches the setup which is built on the Microsoft Windows Installer technology. Setup takes only five minutes to complete and one reboot later you’re a protected Internet surfer! If you haven’t already installed on your system Norton AntiVirus 2002 you can install it right now: the setup of Norton AntiVirus 2002 is a bit longer. Note if you own Norton AntiVirus 2002 which was bundled with SystemWorks 2002, Norton Internet Security 2002 Family Edition will refuse to install it since it will detect you already have the latest version of Norton Antivirus. For users running Windows 98, Me, and 2000 it is recommended they first uninstall Norton Internet Security 2001 v3 before they start upgrading to Norton Internet Security 2002.
