PowerDVD has always been the uncontested DVD software decoder. The new
release 3.0 of the software confirms the status of the software and its
unrivalled quality even if there are not much new features (well I mean
it’s hard to add new features to software that already have anything users
can dream about!). Among the incredible number of build in features, this
new version 3.0 brings some welcome new enhancements like a much better
sound support as well as the unique top notch Dolby HeadPhone feature that
lets you hear from a classic pair of earphone a 3D Theatre like sound!
Some users may regret that the digital zoom level isn’t customisable
anymore (4x or 9x). Anyway PowerDVD 3.0 is essential software to own if
you regularly watch DVDs and don’t have a hardware decoder board. This
software is quite simply the best DVD decoder you can find out actually on
the market.
