Adobe
Illustrator 8.01 is the ultimate software to create great looking
illustrations, documents, ads, etc. in a few mouse clicks which are
compliant with PC/Mac and that can be edited in every Adobe software. As
Illustrator manages CMYK colors it can be used to create documents that
will be professionally printed. We appreciated the multiple undo feature
(that can undo more than 200 actions!) but we deeply regret the lack of
Twain. Indeed users cannot directly use their scanner from Illustrator, as
it doesn’t offer a TWAIN/Scan feature. However Illustrator 8 is almost
intuitive and if some features aren’t really easy to use the thick and
very clear guidebook plus the complete help system will help users to find
the right feature! But, maybe there’s one thing missing in Adobe
Illustrator 8, that doesn't fit in its box: the
artist ! ;-)
