Final
Results and Overall Mark
Well we have reached the end of the
preview. Here are my final comments and notes for Microsoft Windows XP Professional Beta 2
Administrative Features Overview.
Final
Comments
Microsoft Windows XP is a GREAT improvement to any other Microsoft
operating system in the past. I
used Beta 1 for about one month solid without ever having to shut down or
reboot my machine. If this is any
indication of what we can expect in the final version, then I think
everyone is ready for this product.
Now, if you seem a little disheartened by my review because it doesnt
cover any of the end-users advantages that XP provides, dont worry, there
will be a follow-up review to this one geared to all of the end-user
enhancements, like Media Player 8, IE 6, and the MSN Explorer.
There will also be an article about the enhancements of Whistler
Advanced Server. (Microsoft didnt rename the Server version to XP.)
It will cover administrative enhancements and more detailed RIS
stuff also. So, after reading this,
what do you think about XP?
