With
the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth, Microsoft debuts this
cutting-edge technology in its hardware products with a blast. The keyboard
is perfect for those who like a ton of customizable hotkeys and/or use
multimedia functions extensively. The keyboard features an aesthetically
appealing (not to mention a wonderful color scheme) and functional design
which is useful to users. I hope that in the future Microsoft releases a
Bluetooth Natural Desktop as well. The mouse retains the same successful
design and features of the Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer, but has a new
stylish color scheme. As stated earlier, this product is the first desktop
solution for Bluetooth; however expect much more competition in the future.
For those of you who MUST have the latest technology and the coolest
products (you know who you are), this desktop solution is a definite must
for your shopping list. Note: The desktop will be available to the public in
November, with an ERP of $159.00 for the desktop or $84.95 for the Mouse and
Transceiver only.
