I agree with #4.
But I have noticed and have proven that if you force someone onto a ergo keyboard they will, after a short while, never want to go back to the non ergo keyboards.
I personally can't see how anybody that programs for hours on end or types large essays/papers can possibly enjoy using a non ergo. My hands used to hurt like nobody's business when I used those.
I enjoy my MS Natural Keyboard Pro. Its Simple it has some buttons but it doesn't blast you away with stuff you really don't care about. Its keys are responsive and it has a handy USB hub in it which I have my Mouse (Intellimouse Explorer <-- Owns) pluged into. Oh yea, its programmable.
I'm pretty sure I'll buy a wireless Keyboard once they come out with an ergo one but I can live with what I've got for a long while.
God we are geeks... discussing the pro's and con's of keyboards =)
