Its the issue of security which needs to be addressed. This encapsulates passwords and exploits.
MS passwords are broken. They need to be fixed. This is no smoke screen......... |

This is a smoke screen. It's an easy target to divert attention from other security issues.
Passwords do get broken, but not because of a failure on the part of Microsoft. That is like saying that Ford has a security problem because users leave the car unlocked or the keys in the ignition. The users and corporations must be held accountable for not using the password tools provided. ADS has the capability to enforce strong password policies and there are many other tools.
