Facing massive upgrade costs as a result of Microsoft's recent efforts to migrate users to SQL Server and .Net, RLE Technologies, which manufactures water leak detection and web-enabled monitoring products, found itself in an IT quandary. In addition, RLE Technologies was frustrated with the sales order processing feature in its legacy Great Plains software as well as the costs and complexity associated with using different systems to run its business -- ACT! for CRM and Great Plains for accounting. RLE decided to implement NetSuite to run its entire business. With NetSuite, RLE has a single system to handle business processes from quote to order to fulfillment to cash. Additionally, NetSuite's CRM features have allowed RLE to boost its customer service efforts by providing employees a single view of customer interaction. As a result, the company has slashed order-processing time by 50 percent; cut tens of thousands of dollars associated with maintaining disparate software; and saved $25,000 in upgrade, implementation and training costs. | ||
