Microsoft will roll out the final release of the first service pack for Windows Server 2003 in December, according to the user Web site WinInfo, and include a new security wizard that lets administrators lock down unnecessary processes and ports.WinInfo reports that the Redmond, Wash.-based developer has tagged the last month of 2003 as the scheduled release for Windows Server 2003 SP1, the first service pack, or collection of bug fixes and updates. Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Microsoft would debut the beta of SP1 sometime this summer.
