Thanks Mark: A woman has admitted that she and her associates imported nearly $75m worth of counterfeit software, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has heard. Lisa Chen, 52, pleaded no contest to one count of failure to disclose the origin of a recording or product. She was arrested last November along with three other people after an 18-month investigation. Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Fairtlough said: "In a corporation, she [Chen] would be the regional manager. She was responsible for distribution, collecting the money, working the bills." Chen has agreed to a sentence of five years to nine years in state prison, a fine of $10,000 to $25,000, and payments to Microsoft and Symantec.
