Wow a lot of things have happened since I last wrote here. Firstly Gemma and I now live together so things are still looking on the up for me. We have been doing pretty much everything together and now Gemma goes to college here in my hometown. Work-wise things have picked up over the past few weeks compared to September time when things seemed very, very slow indeed.

Started work on new a new layout/design for ActiveWin even though it doesn't seem like the last redesign was all that long ago. Reason for less work over the last two months? A fab girlfriend called Gemma.

Wow it has been a long time since I updated my homepage and this diary area. So what has been happening in my life? quite a lot surprisingly which is one of the main reasons I haven't been able to update quite as much as I would usually. My life has gotten far better over the last few months that it has done for years.

Updated the webcam area.

Saturday June 24th 2000

Completed work on the webcam area. I won't bother putting up a live page as I rarely use the thing. This is the first time I've had new pictures on the web for two years so make the most of it.

Went back into work today and the person who was covering for me was still there as he hadn't been told I was coming back, so I came home ;o)

Yet again it has been some time since I last made an update to my homepage. There are many reasons for this - the main one being that I have yet again been pretty ill, for the past two weeks actually, resulting in me collapsing at home on the 15th of May in the early morning after waking up feeling quite sick. Hopefully things are now getting better for me in terms of health so I am now back online working once again.

It has been a while since I last posted an update to my diary so here goes with a quick run through of what has been happening in my life since my last write up.

1: Quit one of my jobs
2: Started work on a Cambridge, UK specific website
3: Applied for a job at Microsoft
4: Finally got 24/7 free access to the internet thanks to NTL
5: Got my first ever letter from my bank manager because I had a lot of money in my account for once
6: Bought a number of new games - Messiah (Buggy piece of crap that went back, I can't stand games that are buggy anymore no matter whether the gameplay is good or not), Soldier Of Fortune (Another buggy release, but no where near as bad as Messiah), Thief 2 (Tops)
7: Bought more music CD's - Idlewild and Moloko...There are probably some others that I can't think of too.

Friday March 31st 2000

It has been a long week so I haven't been able to add anything to the site over the past week. I finally have money coming in and due to this I have been taking time away from the computer to do proper work ;o)

April will be the first month I don't have to worry so much about the phone bills I add up online, due to the fact that free internet access starts April 17th for me...it is just a shame that NTL are so shabby with their cable modem roll outs that they have been delayed from March 99 and still are not with us.

I've also managed to get sick again this week...always great just as I seemed to be getting over my illness during the past 3 months. Anyway, today I have been working on a new design for the ASP version of ActiveWin that will come online sometime later this year.

On a final note, I have just realised how much I enjoy Xena....hmmmm

Quite chuffed that we broke our site hits record yesterday by over 150% not bad for a story we thought wasn't big news. Finally got round to listening to the latest Filter album I bought a few days ago...It's tops.

One of the people I work for was back at work today, first thing he did was moan at me, so basically told him he wasn't my boss and he should shut his mouth. He is one of those people who never smiles and really does never go a day without constant moaning.

Bought even more CD's after work today, The Wannadies and Filter's latest. Started work on a few new reviews (American Pie & The Thomas Crown Affair)

Sunday March 19th 2000

Sunday is a day for staying in bed until the afternoon. At least it is when you don't get to bed until 4am. This afternoon I helped out the parents clearing out the garden and dumping a whole load of rubbish from our garage that has been lying around for the past 5 years. After I finished watching the new series of The X-Files (we're behind here in the UK, this is just the beginning of Season 6) I finally began work on a new screenplay seeing I still get so many requests for my screenplays to be sent out to various people. I may also start work on the screenplay that Alex and I developed a early story for.

Saturday March 18th 2000

Alex and I decided to go down to the football (Soccer) to watch Cambridge United take on Wrexham. It was a good game, just a shame that we have no defence and managed to lose a 2-1 lead to lose 3-4 at home.

Friday March 17th 2000

Finally made a start on my diary section here on my homepage. I hope that I can manage to keep it updated every few days or so. It has been the usual slow day at the work with very little to do. I popped into town after work and grabbed a few of the latest music releases (Lene Marlin and Fiona Apple) then caught the last bus home and watched a bit of the rather top comedy that is shown every Friday on BBC 2 here in the UK. Perfect World is one of the best TV comedies around these days. Finally I have come online, sorted through 100 e-mails and then started work on a new site design for a new website although I won't say what it is for just yet. I have also decided it is time to work on a new design for my homepage as I have had this one for nearly a year now...
