Enable Activewindow Tracking (X-mouse)

Yes, it is possible to make mouse behave like the Unix X-Windows system, without any additional shareware. It will make your mouse control Window activation, wherever you move your mouse the window will become active. Very cool!

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse and on the right pane, create a new DWORD value named ActiveWindowTracking. Set the value to 1 to enable it (set it to 0 when you want to disable it).
