Scrolling While Dragging Toolbar (Word 97)

All versions of Microsoft Word will allow you to scroll the contents of the document while you drag the scrollbar, all except Word 97. This is suppose to be a feature from Microsoft where dragging the scrollbar under Word 97 doesn't scroll the page until the mouse button is released. If you find this annoying, there is a way to "restore" it to work like older Word versions.

Open up your registry editor and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Word\Options and add a new string value called LiveScrolling and set it to 1. This should make Word 97 behave like "normal" again.
