Make Your Reports More Attractive

Quicken enables you to generate some killer reports. However, you might not know that you can do quite a bit to change a report's appearance. For one thing, you may want to change the width of the columns to make all the headings display completely. To do this, follow these steps:

• With your report on-screen, locate the column markers (they're small diamond-shaped icons near the column headings).
•  Place your mouse pointer over a marker; the pointer changes to crosshairs.
•  Now you can use the mouse to drag the column border right or left to expand or contract it.

To change the typeface used in the headings and body text, do the following:

• Press Ctrl-P. In the Print dialog box, you see a button for Heading font and another for Body Font.
• Click on whichever you want to change and make your selection.
• Click on OK to print.
