This affordable new release of the top-notch Internet connection protection software is really great and useful even if we regret that it doesn’t contain enough new features to justify the cost of the upgrade. Few progresses have been made so the account management feature is now mature. The support of Windows Me (as well as Windows NT and 2000) is a relief for Windows Me early adopters. The help file is complete even if it still doesn’t use the HTML format. In conclusion, Norton Internet Security 2001 Family Edition remains the best firewall and children protection software out on the market. SystemWorks 2001 users will regret that Norton AntiVirus 2001 is bundled with the Family Edition since NAV is already included in SystemWorks 2001.

Three different versions of the software are available:
    

• Norton Personal FireWall 2001,

• Norton Internet Security 2001 that comes with Norton FireWall, Norton Privacy Control, Norton AntiVirus 2001,

• Norton Internet Security 2001 Family Edition, that comes with Norton FireWall, Norton Privacy Control, Norton AntiVirus 2001 and Norton Parental Control.
