Linux Mandrake is a great step for the Linux world. It makes the operating easy to install, use, and live with and it is extremely reliable. The MandrakeSoft team has made a great job with this new user-friendly revision but some bugs still exist. Furthermore, Mandrake is really too big: 4 CDs, 2GB of installation for best results etc.
Overall, Linux Mandrake may be an operating system for you, while it may not. It really depends on what you want, what you need and what you expect from your OS. It is truly worth while if you are looking for a stable and strong system (eg: servers) and it is not a necessity to install Linux if you think about Counter-Strike at school. If you are looking for a change and want to try something new, I suggest this product!
