Setup & Installation

Important To fully use all features and controls on your keyboard, you must install the accompanying IntelliType Pro software on your computer.  It also contains the Online User's Guide, which provides important product information, including the Healthy Computing Guide and the product warranty.

To set up the Internet Keyboard

•           Turn off your computer

•           Locate the round keyboard (PS/2) port on your computer.  Most computers have a small keyboard image above the keyboard port

•           Plug the keyboard connector into the round (PS/2) port

•           Restart your computer, and then install the Microsoft IntelliType Pro software from the compact disc that came in the box.

To connect the palm rest:

•   On a level surface, insert the tabs on the palm rest into the slots on the front of the keyboard, and snap them together.

To install the IntelliType Pro software:

•       Insert the Microsoft IntelliType Pro compact disc into your CD-ROM drive, and then follow the Setup Wizard instructions on your screen.

•         Click the Start button, and then click Run.

•         Type <drive>:setup.  For example, if your CD-ROM drive is drive E, type e:setup.

•         Follow the Setup Wizard instructions on your screen.
