The design of the Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 is pretty spiffy, it looks good is the simple thing to say, especially when compared to some of the other web cams released over the last few years from companies such as Creative Labs. The design is simple, it has the lens of the camera at the front, along with a drop down cover for those times you want the camera covered incase you want privacy, although not sure why this is needed as you probably won't have your PC on during those moments. Also right on the top of the Web Cam is a small button which you can use to take quick snaps.
The base of the web cam is almost perfect, it fits right on top of any monitor you may have, well bar a flat screen one that is. All in all this is an excellent design for a web cam, it is simple, nothing fancy but the look of it is not tacky like some of the older cameras have been.
