Yamaha’s latest burner is revolutionary and surprising at many levels due to the exclusive features it offers. The Audio Master technology, the Mount Rainier support, the CD-RW track editing mode combined with the SafeBurn technology and fast DAE mode, turns the CRW3200 into the most complete, state-of-the-art and feature rich burner on the market.

Audio lovers will soon found themselves addicted to the impressive and unique Audio Master and CD-RW track editing features which are only available on Yamaha burners. The Mount-Rainier format support is original and very helpful even if its inclusion can seem a bit premature since no operating systems natively support MRW yet.

As usual, the CRW3200 is a reliable, solid, high quality and efficient burner that records CD in 24x using P-CAV instead of Z-CLV offering a serious alternative to Plextor or competing burners. This technological choice ensures the quality of the recorded data CDs since quality has always been the main focus for Yamaha.

There are some things we do not like about the Yamaha CRW3200: the spin up time is too slow, while the recording speed is far behind the 32x which is achieved by the latest generation burners. All-in-all we highly recommend the CRW3200 which remains an excellent burner with high-end features packed with an awesome software suite.
