Final Results And Overall Mark
Well we
have reached the end of the review. Here are
my
final
comments, notes and grades for
the Iomega Predator 24x10x40.

The
Iomega Predator
24x10x40
is by far the fastest external burner available on the market. With its neat
look, the Predator offers great overall performance while remaining
relatively compact and all of this for a reasonable price. Packed with a
free USB
2
card and a two year warranty, the Predator is definitely a good choice that
you can count on. I especially appreciated the extremely fast
32x
digital audio extraction that performs much better than most CD and DVD-Rom drives. But the provided
software, HotBurn, cripples the drive. It is a source of never ending
problems that will force users to quickly find a 'real' burning software. We
sincerely hope Iomega will soon release a fix, but in the meantime if you
choose this drive be aware that you might need another burning software.
