DevX.com Inc., the top online resource for corporate IT developers, today launched the Whistler-Savvy Developer Center (http://www.devx.com/whistler), a resource for the beta community to experiment with Microsoft's next version of Windows®, code named Whistler. Featuring articles, discussion groups led by experts, downloads and much more, the center provides developers with the knowledge and technical expertise necessary to begin incorporating Whistler technology into their applications.
The Whistler-Savvy Developer Center, created in conjunction with Microsoft's Windows Desktop Evangelism Group, allows developers to give feedback to Microsoft about the beta version and their experiences with it. This is DevX's second project geared to speeding adoption of new platforms prior to release. A demo site built for Microsoft's messaging platform, Exchange 2000®, debuted to a receptive developer audience in October.
