Instead of just trying to duplicate the iPad size, why hasn't any competitor considered a 15" or even 17" tablet. I know it would not be something you would carry around, but as something that be closer to a laptop experience, at least screen size, unless the cost to manufacture would be excessive.

| #1: I suspect that the added weight of, say, a 15.6-inch tablet would make it undesirable for people that want portability. Holding twice as much weight would make it harder to use the touch screen. More would be dropped. An 11.6-inch screen tablet would be nice however. |

| Tablets on commercials always look larger than that really are. I don't know how many people seemed dissapointed when they first see an iPad. The must use hand models with really small hands. |

I think the iPad size is perfect.
Give it that cool Retina display, and that would really make it killer. I own one apple product (besides ipods), my G1 iPad I got on clearance when the G2's came out. It has been immensely useful. It's great for when you're on the crapper LOL |
