| Man, this sure sounds like a monopoly. You know, monopolies are frequently innovating and coming out with new products and adjusting their prices to be reasonable, etc. |

They've had the .NET show for quite a while.
Alas, this particular episode stinks. |

| I wasn't referring to the .NET show. I know it's existed for quite some time. What I was referring to is that MS is coming up with new ideas and ways to develop software and make it more stable. When's the last time you saw a monopoly doing something to improve people's lives? |

This epsiode stinks because they really don't say *anything*.
Listen carefully (if you don't fall asleep), they say a lot of buzz words, and a lot of meaningless phrases, but they never *actually* say *anything* meaningful. Typically, and .NET Show starts with 15 or 20 minutes of mildly interesting stuff, then we have "Enter the Programmer" - where they really start talking about cool stuff. In this episode, we had 25 minutes of boring, meaningless stuff... followed by another 35 minutes of even more boring and meaningless stuff. This is probably the worst .NET Show I've ever watched. If you want good ones, here is a list of my favorites (in no particular order): "Active Directory in Windows 2000" "COM+" ".NET Architecture Overview" "The .NET Framework" "Programming in C#" "ASP.NET" "Using SOAP" "Your First .NET Application" "Visual Studio .NET" "ADO.NET" "LIVE! From the PDC" "Inside The CLR" "Debugging with Visual Studio .NET" Most of the rest are pretty good too, but those were *really* good episodes. |
