Wow... this article doesn't make any sense.
What, exactly, is a "Vista application"? Is it an application that is written with .NET 3.0+ using WPF, because those run just fine on XP. In fact, I can't really think of a single development platform that runs on Vista, but not on XP. So what is this poll measuring? Is it measuring that lack of adoption of WPF? If so, I agree, that's a problem. |

I am not a programmer, but even I understand that programmers are writing code to .Net and not a specific OS.
ActiveWin ought to start a category for stupidest article - this one gets my vote. |

| In related news... 8% of developers are writing windows vista sidebar gadgets. The rest are writing .net apps. |
