A widespread, international outage on February 26 affecting users of a number of Microsoft’s Windows Live services affected those not already logged into Microsoft’s Web services via Live ID, according to Microsoft. But exactly why so many of its services were inaccessible for most of Tuesday is still not something Microsoft is discussing. | ||

| I used Live ID and Live HotMail was down. No excuses other than it "broke". One wonders if the site was being migrated to Server 2008. Hmmm. |

| Seems to be Passport-related. I couldn't get into MSDN, either. Once I got logged in, the site was fine, though. Wonder what Passport is running on.... Nonetheless, it's very possible it's human error. |
