Saw a demo of this at the Patterns & Practices Summit - very cool. For those that haven't seen it, it's a mixture of Hibernate and language changes which result in you being able to write code like this:
var processes = from process in Process.GetProcesses() where process.Threads.Count > 20 select process; and [Table(Name = "Employee")] public class Employee { [Column(Id = true)] public int EmployeeID; [Column()] public string Surname; [Column()] public string GivenNames; } ... DataContext context = new DataContext("Server=(local);Database=Test;Integrated Security=SSPI;"); Table<Employee> employeeTable = context.GetTable<Employee>(); var employees = from employee in employeeTable where employee.Surname.StartsWith("H") select employee; |
