Groups seek extension in EU Microsoft probe | |

Two parties involved in the European Union (news - web sites)'s investigation of Microsoft secured a few extra days to draft comments. The parties are expected to deliver those comments by Wednesday, after missing a Monday deadline. The late comments are not expected to affect the outcome of the proceeding. A representative for the European Competition Commission declined to comment on the delay requests. The Competition Commission is investigating whether Microsoft used its market dominance in desktop operating systems to unfairly gain share in the server market. In August, the regulatory body extended its probe to include streaming media software. | ||

#3 - I tend to only hear that liberal media bias one coming from ignorant people who see democrats in every corner because they are afraid to question their own opinions.
The media is biased, but they are biased towards the status quo and anything that will generate controversy. It's a odd combination and it has an agenda, it's just not political. Look at the Levy/Condit thing last summer, there was nothing new to report and there was no evidence that Condit had done anything wrong, but that didn't stop them from spending 3 months talking non-stop about it. And if the media had a Democrat bias, why would they have attacked Condit so much? Why aren't they attacking Enrongate now? Why did they follow along with the GOP on the Clinton impeachment? Sorry, only the ignorant make statements like yours. |

In the US you can't convict someone without evidence. Focusing on a single person solely because they are famous, even though they don't appear to be guilty is foolish because you may be ignoring the real criminal. I can't believe you try to compare this to the Nicole Simpson murder. There was actually evidence in the OJ case: http://www.cnn.com/US/OJ/murder/index.html |
