Some AOL members hit wall with XP | |

A technical glitch is preventing some people who use Microsoft's Windows XP operating system from connecting to America Online's high-speed cable service, an AOL spokesman said Thursday. The glitch has affected a "very small number" of AOL members who are accessing the Internet through the Time Warner Cable service with computers running Windows XP. "We are currently working with Microsoft to quickly address the issue," AOL spokesman Andrew Weinstein said. | ||

Keep the AOLers off my inet connection.... ever since they started advertising AOL broadband, my band has become MUCH thinner.
It will only get worse when all yall other people on other ISPs start connecting to MY cable lines. Oh well... guess it's time to move on, or pay more. |

#3 - You have never explained why it is you dislike the start bar menu improvements, the dock icon hiding tools, the desktop clean of random icons, etc.
You keep calling it a sesame street interface, but you clearly cannot justify this opinion in any way. So am I to believe you are credible? |

| #10 - How can you say that AOL continuously offers their customers more when they still don't give their customers features and usabillity that standard ISPs have had for years? Also, most, if not all of the content AOL currently provides can be obtained via the web. The only thing AOL continuously provides their customers with is an ever-increasing price for service, and the burden of having to use their software for access. |
