| I think it's rather silly that IntelliPoint still lacks unified installer. If you have an older mouse, you need to download and install older version of IntelliPoint still. If you have multiple mice (i.e., notebook may be used for 3 mice, 1 for traveling, 1 at home, and 1 at the office), you need to install multiple drivers, which may not even work. |

#1 yeah, that is horrible. I had to format and reinstall Windows on one computer. This particular computer has an MS Office Keyboard attatched to it. No support at all in the newer versions. Had to go out and find an old driver.
Microsoft doesn't even acknowledge the existence of the keyboard anywhere on its site. |

| I'm not seeing support for the new products in 5.3, which dates from April. I don't know why they waited so long to put it out, but I suspect that 5.4 will ship with those new products and will eventually even be posted by MS. |

| I've never had any need for, and in fact had problems with drivers after IP 4.12 and ITP 2.22. Just a vanilla Wheel Mouse Optical and Internet Keyboard on my two main rigs, and anything beyond the above leads to some strange issues. You know the saying: if it ain't broke... |

I have a better one for you.
Install the Fingerprint Software on a corporate PC with Novell Client installed, and enable the "Manage Startup Login" option. Just have your Images ready. You'll need them. TL |
