There's a great quote later in the article:

It spells out perfectly how the media and others jump all over anything Microsoft creates as a "xxx-killer," butting into yet another market, etc. etc. etc. Yep, InfoPath is an Acrobat killer. Of course, Acrylic is out to take down Photoshop. It's like a bunch of old ladies getting together to gossip.
