Intellipoint 4.12 and Intellitype 2.22 Released | |

Thanks Brad. Microsoft has posted updated Intellipoint and Intellitype drivers for their popular line of keyboards and mice. This brings Intellipoint up to version 4.12, while Intellitype moves to version 2.22. Download the new versions from the links below:

| Though note that the internal dates (they can be viewed with WinRAR, for example) of any file of any remote importance is exactly the same as 4.11 and 2.21 -- very old. I'm not sure what the point of this "update" is. I didn't even bother installing them. |

| Regarding the general usefulness: If you have Windows 2000 or XP, I don't think either of these are really necessary. Win9x, NT can probably benefit though, because of the additional device support. |

#2 - You need Intellitype to get support for the scroll wheel on the Office keyboard. Also you need Intellimouse to get the back button with the Explorer mouse. Yeah the scroll wheel works on the mouse in general, but not the other features.
I guess I'm still waiting for the ability for F-Lock to be on all the time. |

Soda, I have an Explorer mouse (silver, 5 button) and the forward & back buttons work just fine on Windows XP, without Intellimouse installed. :p
