Company promises to make its software work better with other systems, Gates says in an e-mail. Microsoft Corp. adopted a new mantra on Thursday, promising to work harder to make its software work better with other software systems and hardware, Chairman Bill Gates said in an e-mail to customers. Previously, such e-mails signaled the launch of massive new efforts by the world's largest software company. The last major initiative, to improve the security of the company's software, was launched by Gates three years ago, and most messages since then have focused on that issue. | ||

Once again, Opinion does not equate to Fact. "Did you know that Google has a web service that can be queried through ASP.NET web pages!" I'm curious... is there any topic that you're not completely and utterly clueless about? Have you been brainwashed into complete and utter ignorance? It's a Web Service, it can be queried from just about anywhere! The fact you can do it from ASP.NET doesn't mean anything, hell you can query a Web Service from Excel if you're a complete cowboy programmer which I'm guessing you are by the love you have for VB. "Thanks again ClosedStandards for pointing out that open source is so last century compared to Microsofts technologies!" Why are you querying non Microsoft technologies then? |

Oh yeah thats why IIS market share has been skyrocketing in recent years at the expense of Apache. |
