| The VIA C3 processor is pretty lame even on a laptop. I know. I had one. 128-MB adds to the lameness being too lightweight for any modern OS. In this case you'll get what you pay for: terribly poor performance. Wal-Mart will probably sell quite a few to uninformed folks. |

| I would say reformat to Windows 98 SE if anything, but who knows if Win98 has the drivers to support that notebook. |

Now, I see why the fantastic prediction on the part of IDC. Yeah, this baby is the launch of those 17 million *nix desktops by 2008 that IDC is promising.
