Well, if there is a more "Discoverable" operating system out there - including how it helps users manage security, I'd like to see it. The Task Based centricity of Windows, where discoverable sessions guide users through desired actions does not get the attention or credit that it deserves. Windows, even with its new security features, does a great job of informing users and assisting them as they perform tasks. Many OS'es, despite some similarity, are far less discoverable. I think this is one area where Microsoft software really differentiates itself from others. Microsoft spends a great deal of time providing for this, which does increase the ease of use and improve the experience users encounter. As complex as some of the new security features are, they have been made quite easy for even novice users to understand. Many users won't have any idea what a Master Cookie ID is, or how to test whether items they have placed on their clip-boards can be read from a system's win.ini file; however, XP2 doesn't require that they know these details - its just fixes them and keep them appropriately informed.
