San Diego-based EDmin.com Inc., a provider of Internet-based educational applications, is working with Microsoft Corp to integrate its Virtual EDucation System with the Microsoft Encarta Class Server. The server, Web-based curriculum management for kindergarten through 12th grade, will use the Virtual EDucation System Web-based accountability tools allowing schools to use online information to improve educational practices. EDmin.com's educational accountability system tracks performance information at the student, teacher, classroom, school, district or state level; aggregates or disaggregates data; and shows student progress in quantified and qualified formats. Virtual EDucation also automates assessment and analysis of student performance levels.
