Based on extensive experience with wireless technologies, BSQUARE Corporation has announced its collaboration with Microsoft Corp. to provide systems integration services for Microsoft's upcoming smart phone operating system, currently code-named ``Stinger''. Beginning later this year, BSQUARE will widen its customer base to include a new set of smart phone customers to integrate the Stinger operating system with new smart phone hardware. ``The market for the emerging class of smart phones is growing rapidly, and BSQUARE is proud to provide software engineering services to enable this market,'' said Scott Bufkin, vice president of the Professional Engineering Services Group at BSQUARE. ``We've already worked extensively with Global OEMs to supply Windows CE-based solutions for Internet-enabled and combination PDA/telephone devices, and we look forward to extending our phone expertise to this new platform.''
