Sega Europe has announced the development of Sega’s OutRun 2 exclusively for the Xbox. The new game, which will feature enhanced modes for the home console version, is due to be unveiled at the forthcoming E3 2004 Expo, May 12-14, Los Angeles. The Xbox version of OutRun 2 will debut on the Sega stand at E3 2004, Room 151, Concourse Hall, and the Xbox booth #1246 South Hall, Los Angeles Convention Center and will feature a playable 2 to 4-player networked link-up mode. Developed in the UK by Sumo Digital Ltd, the Xbox conversion will feature the same classic thrill ride as the Sega-AM2 original and will be enhanced with many new features. Created exclusively for the home console version, some of the new elements of the game will include Xbox Live support and an extensive new single-player mission-mode, as well as unlockable elements.
