Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE: ADI) announced today that Micro Star International (MSI), a leading developer of PC desktop motherboards, will bundle SoundMAX(R) 2.0, ADI's premium-performance PC audio subsystem, with their best-selling Intel and Via core logic-based motherboards. In addition, all MSI platforms with Communications Network Riser (CNR) slots will be certified for use with multi- channel SoundMAX CNR cards, supporting configure-to-order upgrades. As a result of this agreement, millions of new customers will realize the benefits of integrated digital audio functionality on mainstream PC motherboards.
