Ah..lack of marketing. I forgot about all those TV commercials, Magazine Ads, Internet Ads, Bundling, Press Releases, Pricing, Placement up front at all Electronic Stores such as Best Buy, Electronics Botique, Circuit City etc, the physical packaging of the cardboard box that stands out and the millions of dollars they have spent to get their certified logo on the game packaging, TV Commercials as well as their highly debuted and successful live service. Not to mention surpassing the sales of the Game Cube.
Microsoft expects a 5 year loss on this machine, and they have advertised pretty darn well.
