The head of Microsoft Deutschland, Kurt Sibold, will be leaving the company. The 53-year-old intended to continue to pursue his career in the domain of small- and medium-sized companies in his home area in the southwest of Germany, the German branch of Microsoft declared in Munich. What exactly Mr. Sibold would be doing had not yet been decided, however; the question of who was to succeed Mr. Sibold would be solved within the next few weeks, the company stated. Mr. Sibold had taken over control of the German branch of Microsoft from Richard Roy at the beginning of April 2001.
