Microsoft Corp. yesterday urged a judge to deny lawyers' fees to Massachusetts for its pursuit of antitrust claims against the software giant, accusing the state of failing to keep proper records of the time its lawyers spent on the case.
In a lengthy filing answering the state's request for $1.8 million, the company said Massachusetts is entitled to none. But if some fees are to be allowed, Microsoft said, the judge should award a low of $158,569 and a high of $177,598.
