Well, let's anylize the situation here. The trustworthy computing initiative was put out in the beginning of the year, there aren't yet ANY new products out since then, so, basically, the "journalists" (I use plural because just about every journalist says the same exact thing as this guy) expect the products that Microsoft released before the initiative to be in compliance with the initiative itself, I don't think so....
As said, the fact that there are that many security patches tells you that they are doing what they said. (Of course, any ABMer will try to tell you otherwise, as, with any such mindless drone, they have no concept of reality, and believe that Microsoft can do no good).
