Alex Kotowitz, Microsoft's senior director of sales for the Xbox, said he looks forward to partnering with Taiwan’s software developers in creating games for its videogame console, during his visit here to finalize the Taiwanese release of the Chinese-language Xbox. he executive, who made the comment in a press briefing on Friday, said possible forms of cooperation could range from a financial stake in to an outright acquisition of interested software firms. The company last week acquired UK software firm Rare, which used to write popular titles like “Donkey Kong Country” and “Perfect Dark” for Nintendo, in a US$375 million all-cash deal.
