Setting up a wireless network and upgrading his home computers proved to be a difficult and frustrating task for Pat Gelsinger.

Certainly, the task was complicated by the fact that Mr. Gelsinger has seven computers in his home, but few people would expect that it would be a challenge for the chief technology officer of the computer chip giant Intel Corp.
