Nvidia have posted 5 new screenshots of the upcoming game from developer Digital Extremes, Unreal Tournament 2003. Some of the features of UT2003 include:

  • Explore up to 30 original indoor and outdoor environments, each featuring jaw-dropping volumetrically lit particle systems and up to 100 times more polygons than the original
  • Choose from up to 50 highly individualized characters featuring high polygon counts and high-resolution textures
  • Fire to your hearts' desire with a devastating arsenal of intergalactic weaponry, including updated favorites from the original game like the Flak Cannon, Assault Rifle and Shock Rifle as well as all new methods of mayhem like the Link Gun and Ion Cannon
  • Select from frenetic new game modes like Domination 2, Survivor and Bombing Run or dominate in tried-and-true favorites including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag
  • Experience new special game play moves including the dodge move, increased speed, mutators, double jump and berserker
  • Create a team and increase their abilities to progress through the single player tournament in the new team focused gameplay
  • Battle up to 32 of your closest friends and enemies in a single Internet or LAN server
  • Utilizes renowned Math Engine physics to simulate true-to-life character movement and environmental interaction
  • Design and build incredibly detailed levels and mods using the pre-fabricated sections of architecture featured in the latest version of the powerful Unreal Level Editor
