Immensely successful in the '70s and '80s, Supertramp remains a favorite of progressive rock fans the world over. Now its only full-length homevideo becomes the band's first DVD release. THE STORY SO FAR... (A&M/UME), released March 26, 2002, features live performances of all its biggest hits, five of the band's music videos and revealing interviews with each bandmember, including leaders Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson, as they tell the story of Supertramp...so far.
The concert renditions of 11 songs were culled from the group's massive 1983 world tour, including the hits ``Bloody Well Right,'' ``The Logical Song,'' ``Give A Little Bit,'' ``Dreamer'' and ``Goodbye Stranger.'' Also seen and heard are the Supertramp classics ``Breakfast In America,'' ``Crime Of The Century,'' ``Crazy'' and ``School'' as well as ``Ain't Nobody But Me'' and ``From Now On.'' All were on the original 1991 VHS homevideo. This DVD edition, however, adds five bonus videos: ``My Kind Of Lady,'' ``Cannonball,'' ``Better Days,'' ``Free As A Bird'' and ``I'm Beggin' You.'' All have been digitally remastered, audio and video.
